Thanksgiving 2007

Sorry it's been so long since our last post...we have no excuse, we're just bad bloggers.

On Thanksgiving Day, we went out to my grandma's house (Nana) and stuffed our faces, watched the cowboys game, played our guitars and played in the snow. Yes, that's right, I said snow. It snowed like crazy here in Abilene, TX, from about 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.-so about 8 hours. This was the first time a lot of us had ever seen snow on Thanksgiving Day here in Abilene. I measured about 6 inches in our back yard. I know that's not much to some people, but for here, that's quite a bit.
Sarah and I went home that night and put our snow clothes on and played in the snow with our dogs in the back yard. The dogs loved it, especially Astoria. We would make snow balls and she would catch them in her mouth.
On Saturday, we out to my other grandma's house in Lawn (Memaw) and stuffed our faces again. We just played a few board games and hung out with each other 'til Sarah and I had to go home to let our doggies out.
Other than that, it wasn't very eventful, just good times with the fam.
