Rabies

Well, Zach and I had an interesting weekend! Most of it I was in the emergency room or over the toilet...I guess I'll start with Thursday night--On Thursday I let the dogs out like normal, but this time there was a cat in the yard. I heard the cacaphony of hissing and Astoria's wierd bark/howl so I ran outside to find Astoria and Daisy attacking this kitten (3 months old). So to make a long story short I got in between the cat and the dogs and the cat mistook me for a tree. It climbed up my leg and bit my hand when I tried to disengage him. Because we couldn't catch the cat I had to go in for rabies shots which took 5 weeks. I finally go my last shot on my birthday! What a present...Well it's officially taken me four months to write about this. I'm not so good with the keeping up with entries thing. Oh well....I'll stick to pictures.

Engagement Photos

Here are some engagement photos I took of my friends for photography class. They were actually taken in Abilene, Texas at a family farm.

There's a terrible thunder and lightning storm going on so I better get off the computer before there's a power outage!

Pictures

Here's a picture of me and Zach on our wedding day

And here's a picture of a flamingo at the Abilene Zoo.

Progression

Well, its been five months since my last post...This blog pretty much represents my life. I get ideas in my head, start one of them, and then forget about the project until 5 months later when I see something that reminds me of the aforementioned project. Same with scrapbooking--I buy stuff to start on a scrapbook, but then never actually get around to scrapbooking a single event. I thought my wedding would inspire me to scrapbook and yet, I'd rather spend time with Zach in the present instead of remembering past events huddled around the desk and scrap paper. Ah Newlywed bliss...being unproductive and not even caring about it because you may fail class, but at least your spouse will still love you even if your teachers don't.
I've recently become interested in photography. I had an extra elective last semester and decided to take a photography class. We learned the basics (with digital not film, I still don't know how to use a film camera) and applied the basics and I'm still working with the basics. Nothing has really advanced yet with my photo skills, but I'm working on it. Last month Zach, Misti, Amy, David, and I went to the Zoo for a photo opportunity. I'll try attaching some of the photos. Nevermind, I don't have the photos on a disc yet! I'll post some other random pictures instead!
I guess that's it for now...Wow, this is the longest post I've had yet!

Here's our cute little dog Daisy at 7 weeks old. She doesn't look much different now even though she's 8 months.
